Heat Exposure

Oak Island Fire Department requested our assistance with transporting an elderly man off the beach to an ambulance in the area of 2nd Place West due to heat exposure. We helped load the man into our truck and he was then taken to the hospital by ambulance for evaluation.

Missing 6 Year Old Boy

We were dispatched the beach in the 4000 block of East Beach Drive to help locate a 6-year old boy that was missing after playing on his boogie board. We were cancelled en route when the boy was found safe on the beach.
