Flare Sighting from Coco Cabana
We responded to investigate a flare sighting about 1 mile south of the pier. It was soon determined to be military activity in the area and call was ended.

Medical Transport from The Point
Oak Island Fire Department requested our assistance with transporting a patient off the beach. The man had injured his leg and we picked him up and took him to a Brunswick County EMS ambulance for transport to the hospital.
