Contour Mapping
Boat 4490 was on the water yesterday doing bottom contour mapping on the AICW (Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway), Elizabeth River, Coward Creek, Molasses Creek, Piney Point Creek, Dutchman Creek, and Beaver Dam Creek. Mardi Gras Parade
The Oak Island Mardi Gras parade was a great time yesterday. Many people came out for the event. Oak Island Water Rescue was well represented and tossed bags full of candy to the kiddos (and a few adults who yelled “Where’s my candy?”).
