CPR and First Aid Training
While we are certainly most active from April through September, Oak Island Water Rescue trains throughout the year. February is our traditional month to re-certify all members in CPR and First Aid. Oak Island Fire Department provides this training to us, and we appreciate them very much! We did this training last week at Fire Station #2. Here are some photographs from the First Aid training. One of our members, John, played the role of patient with an Academy Award worthy performance! 🙂
