Medical Emergency on Sailboat
A gentleman called 911 and advised the operator that he was having a medical emergency on a sailboat that was anchored near the intersection of Davis Canal and the Intracoastal Waterway. We responded by launching boat 4490 from Blue Water Point Marina and our 2-man crew quickly found the man. He was loaded onto our boat and transported to the Sunset Harbor boat ramp where Brunswick County EMS was waiting to transport him to the hospital.
