Medical Emergency on SE 74th
This morning Oak Island Water Rescue, Oak Island Fire Department, Oak Island Police Department, and Brunswick County EMS were dispatched for a medical emergency on the beach near the SE 74th St beach access. Bystanders on the scene started CPR and a rapid response by the multiple public safety agencies resulted in advanced life support medical care being provided quickly.
A very professional response by all and, as always, seamless interagency coordination.
