Missing 6 Year Old Boy
Earlier this afternoon we were requested by Oak Island Police Department to assist them with our drone, in a search for a lost child near the Oak Island Pier. We responded with our drone and three drone pilots, both 4×4 trucks, and our surf launch boat. While we did not use our drone, we did assist in the search by combing the beach on foot and with 4482 (4×4 truck).
Thanks to the quick and effective work of Oak Island Police Department, the child was located several streets away from his family, and safely delivered back to them. Great job OIPD!
