Night Search and Rescue Training
Last week, Oak Island Water Rescue conducted night search and rescue training on the AICW (Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway) and a few local creeks. All team members participated in a different waterborne search scenario using forward looking infrared and night vision optics. Here are a few photos from that night.
The State Port Pilot was present and kind enough to feature us in this week’s newspaper. We truly appreciate their support. We will share that front page article with you tomorrow.
