The Donated Ice Maker Arrived!
Today Oak Island Water Rescue received a gift from part-time residents, Mary and John Moffitt. They purchased and donated a Hoshizaki ice machine and a Gladiator 17.8 Cu. Ft. refrigerator for our station. The ice machine arrived today and the refrigerator has been ordered. This unsolicited donation is a huge help as our refrigerator was destroyed by the hurricane storm surge. We greatly appreciate their kindness and the generosity of all that have donated to OIWR. These photos of the station were taken today. Our progress is continuing as we go through the process of inspections and acquiring permits to rebuild.
